All of us want to control something; our mind is made to desire control. The question is, what are you trying to control?
Imagine you are a captain of the ship, you are told to steer to destination B from destination A safely.
Do you focus on moving to the destiation by by controlling the ship to cut through the waves instead of allowing the waves to slam on the side of the boat and flip the boat over? Or do you spend your time trying to CONTROL THE WAVES from happening?
- CONTROL the SHIP DIRECTION?
- CONTROL the WAVES around the SHIP?
Both are controlling, but which will get you to the destination?
Some will be arguing which is better.
Any events will have 3 groups of people: the doers, the thinkers, and the talkers.
- The DOERS who focus on cutting through the waves will get to destination B.
- The THINKERS of how to control the waves will not get there.
- The TALKER, well, they are just on the wharf, looking and talking; they are not going anywhere.
DO what you can CONTROL that gets you what you want to go. That’s how you get from one place to another that you want. Everything else is just a waste of time and energy!
CONTROL what you can, that is:
- YOUR OWN MIND,
- YOUR OWN ACTION,
- YOUR OWN EMOTIONS,
- YOUR WORDS,
But for others, you have no control over. Yes, the manipulators will say otherwise, but let them do what they do, just FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL, yourself!
