We trust the 1%

It is interesting how we trust the 1% seen and ignore the 99% unseen.  Look at the sky, we look at the twinkling stars and totally ignore the 99% darkness around them.  This is how we live our lives!

It reminds me of the time when my 2 kids were small, maybe 2 and 3 years old respectively, staring at the kitchen looking at the window, it was raining outside, and my son will call us, we are standing there with the 2 kids, and he will say, “Why is it raining in the kitchen”?

We were both looking at each other, we did not see water in the kitchen, and then I said, “Dear, what water”?

He will say, “There it is falling down, raining all over, don’t you see it”?

I told him, “wow you can see it, amazing”!

He and his sister were looking at the rain falling in the kitchen, which we did not see.

There is so much we don’t know, yet we claim to know about life.

The kids are able to see things we cannot see, even FEEL things we cannot feel.  My son was out with my sister-in-law, went to see an apartment for her renovation project on the hillside.  He told her, “Why is the ground shaking”?  She has no idea why he was saying it, but a week later, the same apartment literally sank into the ground, collapsed into the ground!

Kids can see the unseen and even feel the future event now!

What about the time I was in doubt about God, I was wondering which one to choose to believe because stress and the burden of family were on me, I had to be a good provider for my family, and I needed to believe in someone greater than me.  I was talking, and my daughter was with me in the car.  Basically, what I was saying, “how is it possible that there are so many gods and yet there is only one, are they all real”?  She was looking at outiside the window at the car next to us, at the traffic light, then the car moved.  She points to the wheel of the car, an. old sports car with a rim that looks llike held up with wires.  She says, “The spiky thing, outside are the many gods, they are all connected to the middle, there is all, and there is one, it is tied together”.

That gave me the ‘aha moment’ from the lips of my dear daughter!

I asked them if they remember the moments, they say, “NO”.  Essentially, we FORGET the wisdom as we grow up.  How amazing it would be if we could keep the wisdom instead of forgetting it?

When will we open our minds up and begin to acknowledge the 99% of reality?  How would the world be like if we allowed our minds to be opened to the 99%, better still, 100% of the senses, instead of only 1% of what we can see, and totally ignore the 99% we cannot see?  How different would our world be?

Are we brave enough to open our minds up and begin to see and feel the unseen reality?
