Trust yourself above all else

If you are NOT trusting yourself (disempowering yourself), you are trusting others.

We don’t realise this, we can disempower ourselves because of the person’s title.

Misplaced Trust will only get you into trouble!

There are GOOD people around we can trust and there are NOT good people who we are NOT to trust.  But does the TITLE means that they are very good, trust worthy?

Let’s give some examples:

TITLE

The calling card says, “CEO”.

Suddenly, we give them respect, like they are super intelligent and trust what they say like words of God, like the 10 commandments.

In business, I was CEO, but I really do not know everything, I know some but not everything about anythihng.  When I started the company but people think I know everything.  They trust what I said and just accept as truth.

We need to LISTEN and TEST what is being heard.

Yes, people with big title can MAKE MISTAKES!

I almost died trusting doctor who says, “I can do this procedure with my eyes closed”, I ended up in ICU.  My wife trusted the doctors, she end up in ICU and passed away.

I trusted many people and many times I get disappointed!

I learned to TEST if it is true or not before keeping the information in my brain.  I do regular spring cleaning of my believes and logic, proves, by TESTING them over time.

EXPERIENCE

What about those who have been doing what they do for years?

I often tell people this when I was oberving my workers in business.

Some will DO the same thing over and over again, like 1 day work and repeated for 5 years.

Compare this to someone who do what you told them, then they learned new and make the learning better for 1 year.

Which do you think is the better worker?

The second one is actually better than the first one, the worker learns, adapt and refine what was learned, the other just repeat what was taught over and over again, not getting better but just the same time doing things just the way was taught.

It depends on your ability to learn.

Test who you trust before you trust.

Learn to TRUST YOURSELF.

Listen to others humbly, yes, but TEST what they said, if true, treasure the knowledge, if not, let go, no need to get angry just let go because people make mistakes and tell stories to sensationalise themselves.
