The thing with nature is that it is predictable and consistent!
This is all that it does, what it was programmed to do, no off days, no choices, just ONE thing it does, nothing else. This is why you can never win, NATURE ALWAYS WINS!
- Gravity it is predictable; it sucks everything into the earth, you cannot stop it. You will get suck towards the earth till you are stopped by the earth.
- Sun, it is predictable. It shines all the time, even when you don’t see the sun, it is shining.
You cannot win against nature, it never stops executing the program! It will win.
So it is with human nature!
You cannot change them UNTIL they commit to CHANGING themselves. They can PRETEND to change but when you are NOT there, they will revert to their nature. At work, I see people work; they work hard, very hard, when I am there, but when I am not there, what happens? They stop working, they go on the phone, they talk to colleagues, they have food to eat, drink, or they go on a smoke break. I call them SHOW-WORKERS, they show them that are working ONLY when you are there, else they are OFF doing what they want. This is. How HUMAN NATURE works, you cannot change it. What I do to overcome this? I will stay on site, I will stand at a distance and watch them, to keep them on track to complete the project on time.
Do not get angry; understand human nature and work with it, or else you get frustrated and angry.
Anger and frustration only cause you to feel really tired after, and eventually, the stress will make you sick.
To understand human nature, you cannot win; you need to understand and work with it to get the outcome you want in life.
- Is their nature to be lazy?
- Is their nature to be playful?
- is their nature to steal?
- Is their nature to lie?
- Is their nature to destroy?
Know their nature and if they FIT the position in your company, PUT them there; else, don’t hire them, you will only end up being angry, frustrated, and you will end up having to pay late delivery fines! You pay for their nature because you did not choose them correctly.
- Look for hardworking, natured humans;
- Look for honest-natured humans;
- Look for problem-solving humans.
You end up with NO ANGER, NO FRUSTRATION, and you enjoy your work.
FILTER out the others and only FOCUS on nurturing those who care about work.
