Often, as we grow older, we find it hard to handle events happening, and we wonder why.
2 mindsets will determine our thinking and behaviors:
- WHY ME mindset (victim);
- PREPARING ME mindset (becoming);
WHY ME will have blame, excuses in blaming the world, and be filled with self-doubt with their logical mind, while the PREPARING ME will be beyond logic mind, they will keep doing with CONFIDENCE and TRUST that everything that is hard or easy is preparing them for BETTER THINGS in life.
When buddha trust that everything is preparing him to be the king, he will do what he is asked to, because he knows he will be king, until he does not, for noble reasons he left, but while he was the son of the king, he was being prepared to be the king, his mindset is totally different. When he has to do hard things, he does. Don’t question why they are doing this to me?
Compared to the WHY ME mindset, who does not know WHERE they are going, their DESTINATION, they focus on what is happening now, seek answers in logic, and see unfairness for having to stress in life. Why should I have to do this or that? Why can’t they do it? Why don’t they just leave me alone? They will come to their own conclusions. Life is so hard, so unfair!
Which mindset goes the distance?
Think about it, the one WHO KNOWS the DESTINATION (preparing mindset) or the one who does not know the destination, no destination, just floating along?
Choose wisely, your LIFE depends on your mindset.
