When you observe a person, you can have a good indication if they are love or fear driven.
- They need to know in advance, to control events, they are fear driven.
- They do not need to know, they are spontaneous, they are love driven.
When you talk to them, you have to structure your communication accordingly for effective communication.
FEAR driven, you have to brief them before and give details, they need to know before they start any venture, else they get confused and conflicted, they will not be able to do their work effectively, lots of question time is needed for them to know what they need to do before they start.
LOVE driven, give them a task, any task, they will jump into it, do not give them detail briefing that is longer than what they need to do, they will get bored and frustrated, which will lead to bad work after.
Know your audience, which emotions they are driven by and act accordingly for effective communication.
