What has to happen to trust yourself?
Trust happens when the belief is in alignment with your logic, then the body relaxes and does what it needs to do to achieve an outcome.
When does ‘not’ trusting self happen?
Distrust happens when there is no alignment of your beliefs and logic. “Something does not add up,” your mind is saying, well, one side of your brain is saying, because it does not add up to what it knows as true, the filtering system is sending out warning bells.
Example:
- You believe that tomorrow will be better.
- Then you hear on the news that there is a war, no, wait, there are 2 wars happening, how can tomorrow be better than today?
- The conflict happens, you no longer trust your ability to assess the situation, now, you are in ‘doubt’. The self-trust is gone.
Another example:
- You believe your body can self-heal; your past has told you this over and over again.
- Now, you hear, your body cannot self-heal unless you have this new thing, or else you will die.
- Then you hear from others that some died because they took the new thing.
The beliefs and logic taken in are conflicting, and now you start to doubt yourself. You stop trusting yourself, you need more information to decide which is true, procrastination comes in, and distrust continues.
