We are searching for the perfect partnership, like searching for the perfect house.
You are NOT going find it, because all relationship has to be worked at to make perfect, just like the perfect house, you will have to renovate it to make it perfect for you. Many do not realise this; they are seeking the ‘soul mate’, otherwise they are not going to get into the relationship.
A great relationship that lasts through time has 2 main ingredients:
- COMMON INTERESTS to do together
- FORGIVENESS of mistakes
You need to know that everyone makes mistakes, that’s how we learn and grow.
In a relationship, it is also the same; we will make mistakes, and we need to learn to forgive each other and keep working on the relationship. I have seen many relationships that break up after one mistake, “Oh, you don’t understand, this is a major mistake!
Most relationships do not have a clear ‘DO NOT CROSS LINE” list; hence, we will make mistakes, and we cross the line. We assume and expect in relation, that’s why we will make mistakes, and we need to learn forgive simply because it was not clear where the line is, we find out through trial and error! “Oh, but this is common sense! But common sense is not that common.
Spend more time doing things together because we love doing things together, and forgive easily. Ironically, when your vibration matches, you will be doing things together, and your mistakes will be crossed together and learn together, hence no mistakes to forgive!
Of course, if they do the same thing again and again, that’s just abusing the other because one can, then it is time to leave.
