Love is the ultimate power in the universe? Some say it is, songs are written about.
Love is a feeling we get, a chemical release that we feel when we are with someone special.
We chase love when we are young, and yet, when we have been married for many years, many would say that love is not the same as when they were young; it has transformed somehow. It is different; we still love each other, but it is not the same as before. Some will say love fades and hence divorces happen, so what is love, and how does love trigger the chemical releases that we totally feel in our entire body? Some would go chasing for love, that’s why they have so many lovers or many ex-partners, they are addicted to love.
Here is the thing, LOVE is triggered by one side of your brain hemisphere.
Whenever that side is triggered, it releases the hormone, and you feel it all over your body, the loving hormone. While if the other side of the brain is triggered, it does not release the love hormone, you do not feel.
- The RIGHT BRAIN hemisphere is the one that releases the love hormone, the creative side of the brain, and the belief side of the brain.
- The LEFT BRAIN hemisphere is the one that STOPS the love hormone from being released, the logical side of the brain.
The brain hemispheres take turns, taking over the control of the body. As we mentioned before in the previous blog, whichever has the best PITCH will take over the driving of the body. This happens all the time, the SALES PITCH to DRIVE THE PHYSICAL BODY. When the right brain takes over, it releases the LOVE hormones; when the left brain takes over, it STOPS the release of the love hormone. It is like the government; when one takes over, they sign the executive order to invalidate the previous president’s orders.
This is WHY love fades!
The LOGIC LEFT took over and stopped the love hormone from being released.
The question is, for those who do not want to move on to stage 2 of the very long journey of life, is, “how to keep the RIGHT BRAIN active” so that you have the LOVING FEELING as long as you can”? They can stay in stage 1 and enjoy love all the way through their entire lifetime!
